Copper Paloma Leather
Begin with the color brown, soften the intensity, and add reddish orange tones, copper is most familiar as a copper penny, pipe, or pot. Copper wire is an excellent conductor of electricity, a metal used in the composites of brass and bronze. . It is a warm rich earth tone that works well in natural settings, such as a lodge home, but equally at home in an urban setting and loft apartments.
Paloma is a lightly corrected leather with a combination of dyes and pigments that smooth the leather’s grain pattern. Like puppy dogs and snowflakes, grain structure in Paloma varies and minor color nuances may appear in different hides. Natural marks, scars and insect bites are visible. A thin coat of lacquer gives Paloma some protection and simplifies cleaning.
